How do I become a Christian?

This is what the bible states as the gospel…

Jesus said himself to repent and to believe the gospel

It is so much more than what we have been told in the past.to just believe and admit and then your on your way…you got your ticket, but only if you were being sincere and you stand before the church and confess.
Nope thats not it that is mans gospel

1.) Why do you need to be saved and from what?
Many will say sin. Sin is not chasing you and will one day cast you into hell,but rather God will. It is to be saved from Gods Holy Wrath against sinful man. (everyone including you, Romans 3 says for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God )

It is to repent and to believe the gospel
Look to the holiness of God to start Habakkuk 1:13 Isaiah 59:2
God is Holy, infact He wants us to know He is Holy, Holy, Holy and none of His attributes overshadow the other (kinda like how its love only, just love, but God also hates,when is the last time you hear that one preached?) He is first and foremost Holy,that is separate. He is completely separate from any other creature.He is not like a man, that He should tell a lie,nor does He even think like us ( Isaiah 55:8-9 )

If you are really heartbroken/aware of your sinfulness and that your are under the wrath of God and are on your way to Hell,hopelessly … then call upon God : ask for mercy (all that the Father give me shall come to me, and I will in no wise cast out *that is turn you away)

It is a gospel grace (that which is given of God,not worked for is not a reward) rom 2:4  a gift,Acts 5:31 – 11:18 – 2 tim 2:25,
but yet at the same time is a commandment of God. Act17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world

All are called to do this there is no exceptions Matthew 11:20-21

HE WARNS THEM THAT IF THEY DID NOT REPENT…
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

OH GOD I KNOW I SHOULD REPENT,BUT OH GOD I CANNOT,I KNOW I HAVE BEEN COMMANDED TO REPENT,…but I have no power to repent,GOD have mercy upon me ….Help me that I may repent

Then the faith part

In the Holy Bible in the book of Romans 10:9-11
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Verse 13 says:For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved
